Our long experience and knowledge of cosmetics industry are our core competencies and allow us to provide you a customized design service. Our in-house team with designers and toolmakers are highly qualified and experienced and able to realize any of your needs even from a simple sketch, or a make-up box. We can used CAD/Pro-E/UG design systems and drawings are kept in a database for further complements or modifications.

Our Tooling Center is equipped with modern vertical turret milling machines, surface grinder machines, CNC engraving machines, CNC and EDM machines with high accuracy and speed using CAM/CIM process. All tooling parts are controlled before assembly with micrometers, vernier calipers or gages according to drawings.

Tooling on average needs 2/3 weeks to manufacture but sometimes requires 4/5weeks according on the piece shape complexity. Once achieved tooling enter in test period during which it is tested with different raw material and at different production speed. At the end of test period and once tooling and product are approved and qualified by our QC Manager, 700 samples are made, 200 pieces for toolmaker engeneering and QC manager and 500 samples for customer approval.

After client approval, tooling is released to production and any line trial sampling can be send to customer at its first request. Moreover Fengdie is responsible of tooling maintenance all along their life service.

Today, Fengdie is able to produce more of 1 Million pieces / day with a level of tolerances at +/-0.003937 inches (+/ -0.1mm ). This level of tolerances has been defined with the participation of our clients and Mepco's ones and give them all satisfactions:

- whatever the geometry of pieces, thickness and type of raw material, with covering like lacquers, tin or anodising, rings or hologram at the bottom of pan, embossing of pans on the side, ect…

- whatever the provider in raw material, in first quality choice and for mass production to ensure a packaging by powder filling press or pouring machine.

All our tooling are manufactured to guarantee at 100 % all the time any product inside this level of tolerances with small thickness raw material from 0.28 onto 0.50mm .
